Community Events

The Kaiapoi Community Christmas Market is back on Saturday 12 December, 10am–2pm, bringing festive fun and community spirit to the Kaiapoi town centre.

Hosted by Blackwell’s Department Store and The Kaiapoi Club, the market will feature local community stalls, food vendors and craft makers, along with live music from Josh and Gina Keating.

There’s plenty of fun for the kids too, with Serendipity Circus bringing face painting, balloon twisting, roaming stilt walkers, jugglers and bouncy castles. The Kaiapoi Fire Brigade, Waimakariri Libraries and, of course, Santa in his grotto will also be there!

Come along, support local businesses and enjoy a fun-filled day of Christmas celebrations for the whole family.

Stallholder applications are still open. To apply or find out more, email enquiry@blackwellsdeptstore.co.nz.
