Blackwell’s Department Store in Kaiapoi is once again brightening the winter season with the return of the Blackwell’s Winter Festival.

This event has become a cherished annual tradition since the store’s restoration following the 2010 earthquakes. This year’s celebration is set to take place on Saturday July 18th. This will mark the 12th iteration of the festival, which promises to be as impressive and family friendly as the previous years.

Returning highlights will include circus and aerial performers, circus workshops for children, face painting, live music, a variety of food and craft vendors, and children’s entertainment.

The Winter Festival, commencing at 2pm, will extend across Blackwell’s car park and the adjacent Kaiapoi Club car park.

We’ve been fortunate with the weather over the years and are hoping that magic continues, as we have 25 fantastic stalls lined up, offering an array of scrumptious food and exquisite crafts. We’re eagerly anticipating another wonderful day for Kaiapoi.
